Getting creative with Hair lace

This is a practice in class. I had pre made the head piece gems, using hair lace, duo glue, tweezers and different sized gems.
I found this extremely easy and saved me a lot of time.
Products used:
Duo glue
Hair lace
A pointy tweezer
Artificial beads and gems
MAC Studio Fix foundation
MAC Translucent powder
MAC Pro concealer palette
Spirit gum
Hair dryer

Demonstration; step-by-step guide
First I cleansed and toned my models skin before very lightly blocking out the eyebrows using spirit gum. I then applied foundation followed by powder.
I cut out a small piece of hair net and stuck it onto some foil in order to keep it stable while I worked. I then drew the desired shape onto the hair net with pen and began to stick the beads and gems onto the drawn shape like a pattern using duo glue.
Then I cut around the shape with scissors (after removing the foil) and stuck it onto the eyebrow using spirit gum.
I then used the remaining loose gems and worked my way along her forehead and down her face, arranging the beads in a pattern (still using spirit gum) as I went along just to add a bit more texture and to complete the look.
I also threw in some gold lipstick just for good measure!
very Happy with the result.
This was another practical i did at home. The aim of this was to see how the gold gems would look on black paint. I used kroylon aqua water based colour, duo glue, tweezers and different sized gems.
